It allows managing a private Cloud in a Virtual Private Server, including content management (multimedia files, folders, data bases, e-Learning resources), ISP management (servers, applications, users, communities, forums, workflow) and desktop management (diary, word procession, spread sheet, messaging, templates, preferences). |

Description |
Bahrain Locator developed by Central Informatics Organization, is an improvised version with features handling positional referenced data and spatial analysis functions facilitating enhanced location based services, delivery of geographic information and geo-processing power to achieve greater reliability. Bahrain Locator delivers accurate and updated location-based information like i) Advanced Administrative Boundary and landmarks with corresponding map; ii) Address; iii) Enhanced Points of Interest and Quick Search; iv) Interactive Legend on Demand tool toggles the visibility of the map legend; v) Satellite View toggles the visibility of satellite imagery as a base map overlain by the Administrative boundaries, road network and points of interest (POI); vi) Advanced Selection and Buffer Tool. Services of the Bahrain Locator include: G2G (Government to Government) transmissions for planning and decision making, G2B and G2C-Geospatial enterprise facility for citizens to plan and enhance business. |

Bahrain Locator is a GIS website and platform was created by the Central Informatics Organisation was established to support the growing need of Geospatial information throughout the government, and provides a platform for the ministries in Bahrain to create their own layers, such as the Ministry of Housing where they can develop their own layers showing the housing projects in the country, furthermore they can access the other infrastructure layers which is developed by another ministry in order to have holistic view of the government projects. Furthermore the individuals can benefit as it provides different ways for finding locations by address, administrative (advanced) and road searches, also they can search by point of interest like Hospitals, Embassies, Money Exchange, etc and Ministries which is unique and competitive advantage for Bahrain Locator. |

Description |
The new JEOL SEM model CarryScope with CyberSEM is a remotely operational Scanning Electron Microscope, which can be operated by any remote location through World Wide Web. This microscope is an ideal tool to teach electron microscopy in student labs either by physically moving the instrument or by internet at a distance location. Researchers, undergraduate, postgraduate and secondary school students may have access to the remotely controlled electron microscope system on a daily routine basis. Users, especially researchers can make use of this facility to acquire high definition electron micrographs for immediate publication. The system is easy to use, produces high quality and publishable images, allows for multi users and real time sharing, saves time and costs. It is a project of the Kuwait University in collaboration with the University of Oxford. |

The Remote Microscopy at the Nanoscopy Science Center (Faculty of Science - Kuwait University) allows the researchers and the students alike to have access to it from any workstation in the world via the web, and link to the CyberSEM system. First, by login then make online booking sessions and remotely access and control the Scanning Electron Microscope (CarryScope). It allows Long distance microscopy, with high quality images for publishing on the web for a personal use (in a private account) or to be shared with other researchers (Real Time sharing). This has helped researchers to reach analysis and research results faster by sharing the images and enabling others to contribute. Simply, this product is a very powerful content enabler and the strategic impact is great among researchers. |
